Founder Scott Shumake started the business in 2018 selling his sculpture-like fire pits at local markets and shops, but it was TikTok that helped him land his first online order in late 2020. Less than two years later, has made sales in 25 states and is even shipping internationally. In addition to expanding his reach and helping exceed revenue goals, Shumake says his largest grossing sales to date have come through TikTok.

    Cryo Rolls makes Rolled ice Cream and offers vegan and gluten free options. Cryo Rolls started as a small mobile business as well as making videos on Tik Tok. Cryo Rolls opened it’s first location in Bellingham, Washington in September of 2022.

Husband-and-wife owners Chen Dien and Trang Cao say "we have been blown away by the large reach and community TikTok has created for us." They estimate at least 50% of their customers come from TikTok (with some even visiting from outside of the state) and credit TikTok with helping them exceed their annual revenue goals, allowing them to open a second store location.

And Arlen's success on the platform has also helped the business hire 3 full-time employees (including 1 through TikTok!) and pay them a livable wage and provide benefits including unlimited paid time off and health care.
