TaylorMadeBBQ and More
Shreveport, LA
When the pandemic shut down Reco Taylor's barbershop, he knew he had to find a new way to support his family and he had to find it fast. Within days, he'd set up a pop-up barbeque spot in a Shreveport parking lot and TaylorMadeBBQ was born. He was averaging about 20 customers per day - mostly friends from the community - when his daughter told him he should try promoting his food on TikTok. Reco says that suggestion took his business to a level he never could have imagined; "Now we are catering for the whole city. I’ve been booked every week." Today, TaylorMadeBBQ is the #1 ranked BBQ spot in Shreveport. It averages 150-200 customers per day, draws business from fans around the world, employs several members of the local community, and is getting ready to move into a brick-and-mortar location.
